The Spirits' Book, published in French in 1857, is considered the most important book in the Spiritist philosophy. It contains the bases for that philosophy and all important points in its doctrine: the belief in God, reincarnation and the survival of the soul after death, the fact that it is through reincarnation that the soul learns and moves

Natural Law: manifests that nature is the only law of God. The existence of spirits as beings endowed with intelligence, with the capacity for evolution and created by God.

Kardec's books include "The Book of Mediums and Spirits," published 18 April 1857 and considered a landmark, as well as "The Gospel as Explained by Spirits." On 6 February 1832, he married Amelie-Gabrielle Boudet (born 22 November 1795; died 21 January 1883). Kardec died in Paris on the morning of 31 March 1869 at age 64. Link to Wikipedia
